On this day tour, you will travel by luxury 4WD around the South Wairarapa area. We operate private small group tours and want our clients to have a comfortable trip, so these tours are for a minimum of 2 adults and for no more than 4 adults at any one time.
Photography tips and guidance included
Tours are suitable for any level of photographer and for any type of camera. Photography tips and guidance are provided along the way. We will focus on landscape, wildlife, rural and coastal photography. Depending on the weather and the season, the tour will usually include time in and around Martinborough, Lake Ferry, Cape Palliser, the Seal Colony, Ngawi fishing village and a walk on a volcanic sand beach.
Other tour information
Tours pick up from the Martinborough Wine Centre at 10:30am and you will be returned back there around 3:30pm. A picnic lunch or light meal, plus soft and hot drinks are included. Price: from $480 for up to two adults travelling together. Additional adults are priced at $200 per person. Maximum tour size 4 adults. For a really special treat we can arrange a morning tour followed by lunch at the fabulous Wharekauhau Estate in your own private dining room. Enjoy award-winning cuisine in one of the finest luxury lodges on the North Island. For those with time pressures or who fancy a touch of extra-special treatment, we can arrange for you to be collected by helicopter at Wharekauhau Estate and returned either to Wellington or across the Cook Strait to a number of locations in the Marlborough region. We will focus on landscape, streetscape, wildlife and coastal photography. Depending on the weather and the season, the tour will usually include time in and around the Wellington CBD and harbour areas and will also take in some of Wellington's more scenic outer areas. A photographic walking tour along the waterfront is also included.

Tours will pick up from your accommodation in Wellington (by arrangement), or at the Hotel Intercontinental in Grey Street at 10:30am and you will be returned back there around 3:30pm. A picnic lunch or light meal, plus soft and hot drinks are included. Price: from $580 for up to two adults travelling together. Additional adults are priced at $225 per person. Maximum tour size 4 adults.
