Marcus' creative specialties include:
+ Corporate and Commercial
Enhance all of your business communications by using professional photography and quality images of your products, people and property.
Your communications are a direct link with your clients and - as the old saying goes - a picture is worth a thousand words. Equally, a poor quality image can cost you money because it damages your brand and customers' perceptions of your business.
It is essential to maximise the potential of your brand and promote your business in the best possible way. Don't compromise on producing quality images - always use a professional photographer with the right equipment.
We look forward to working with you to create eye catching images for magazines, product promotion, brochure ware, your website and advertising and new media campaigns and producing photographic artwork to decorate your reception and meeting rooms.
A full service is provided for Corporate & Commercial clients including:
staff and new team photography, buildings, offices and other commercial premises photography, photo shoots and provision of imagery for use in Annual Reports and other corporate literature, new product and other promotional photography, photographic insurance records of valuable items, new premises build records and other commercial work. Please contact us to discuss your needs.
Alternatively we are able to provide tailored training for your own staff in basic techniques so that they can produce better image content for your in-house publications. As part of this service we also provide consulting services with regard to the purchase of photographic equipment, printers, software and workflow so that you can get the most out of your investment. Please contact us to discuss your needs.
+ Life events
If you need a professional photographer to cover your product launch, press conference, corporate party, PR event, VIP visit or signing ceremony (current NZ Government security clearance held), we can help. Reportage-style images for your publicity materials or records produced from these events can be turned around very quickly for you to post on your website, intranet or blog. Please contact us to discuss your needs.
+ Sports
Marcus is a member of the International Federation of Journalists, has a full press pass and enjoys covering both indoor and outdoor motor and equine sports events. Recent shoots include press photography work at the NZ leg of the WRC 2008 World Rally Championships in Hamilton and photographing the Wrangler 2008 International Rodeo event in Christchurch. He will again be an official photographer at the 2009 International Rodeo event. Please contact us to discuss your needs.
+ Wildlife and nature
Marcus considers himself extremely fortunate to live in 'God's Own' (New Zealand); surrounded by natural beauty, amazing landscapes and an abundance of native wildlife and nature. His images of these photographic topics are sought after and he enjoys undertaking nature shoots for corporate and publishing clients. He also enjoys sharing the best of New Zealand when guiding and on tour with his photography clients on private nature and wildlife tours around New Zealand. Please contact us to discuss your needs.
+ Photojournalism
If you need commissioned articles and editorial photography, Marcus is available to visit locations worldwide, either to write about them for your publication, to photograph them or both. Marcus is an accredited International Federation of Journalists photographer.
Recent shoots have included the cover of Vector magazine (produced for pilots and aviation professionals by the New Zealand Civil Aviation Authority), a NZ based lifestyle magazine for which articles, photographs and interviews on a variety of subjects were undertaken and the provision of images for a sponsorship prospectus for a major international sporting event that helped land Jack Daniels as the headline sponsor. If you need to commission us to undertake photographic work in any corner of the globe, Marcus would love to hear from you.
Marcus also provides proof reading and copy editing services to a variety of clients. Please contact us to discuss your needs.
+ Location services
Marcus uses his knowledge of New Zealand and location expertise to provide photography location services for visiting photographers, film and documentary makers and television producers. He is able to arrange access for still and video photographers to most outdoor and indoor subjects/locations.
Examples include helicopter access to (or fly-by of) mountain and lake areas, permits and land-owner consents for longer-term projects, boat charters and long term accommodation sourcing.
Given adequate budget and lead-time Marcus can arrange most things, including your catering. Give your location requirements to us and let us make the necessary arrangements - so you can concentrate on photography and filmmaking. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.

Front Cover Shot - NZ Civil Aviation Authority Magazine 'Vector'
Whilst working the the NZ CAA training their staff I was involved in the editorial meeting to discuss the content and look of the July/August issue of Vector, their aviation industry magazine.
The end result was to use the cover to promote an article on Airworthiness Directives (AD's) and my cover concept was adopted, together with one of my images.
Read Vector and see the end result here as a PDF.
RSA/National Bank Competition
In April I covered the Cyril Bassett VC Speech Competition for the NZ Returned Services Association. The event was also sponsered by ANZ National Bank.
Meaghan Li, 17, from Macleans College in Auckland was judged the winner and travelled to Gallipoli with the official NZ delegation.
Hon Judith Collins, Minister for Veterans' Affairs, and Dr Jenny Fagg, Chief Executive of ANZ National Bank, both awarded Meaghan her prize.
Some images of the event can be seen on the RNZRSA website here and in the portfolio. For more images, please contact me.
